William Charles Energy has taken the lead within the William Charles family of companies to reduce our carbon footprint companywide. Our offices were built cost-effectively using environmentally-conscious materials, and we try to incorporate greener practices into our working environment as much as possible:
- Office: We used environmentally friendly bamboo flooring, low energy lighting, recycled desks and tables, and low VOC paint.We do not use bottled water but have installed filtered water service.
- Automobiles: Service vehicles are necessary in our work, but we want to minimize their impact. Office staff uses high mileage and hybrid vehicles.
- Sponsorships: We have partnered with many local organizations to help promote a better environment. We proudly support the No Idle Zone effort. www.mynoidlezone.com/
